I am committed to providing top-notch instruction in sociology. I earned a Certificate in College Teaching from Duke University in 2019. This certification involved pedagogical training, coursework, and in-class observations of my teaching. I was also awarded the Duke Department of Sociology’s Graduate Teaching Award for excellence and innovation in the classroom.
I have taught undergraduate courses on Social Inequality, Introductory Sociology, Gender and Math, and Ethics of Inequality at Ohio State and Duke, and will be teaching a graduate-level seminar on the Sociology of Culture in 2024. I have experience teaching in various modalities, including traditional in-person courses as well as online courses (synchronous and asynchronous).
